I have had a very busy week, so I have not been able to do much posting, but when there is something to say about Heath Ledger, my world stops. My ex and I had an agreement that we were each allowed one person with whom we could cheat on each other. His choice was Brad Pitt; mine, Heath Ledger. He was one of my first crushes, and I still think he is one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen.
So, when I heard today that Heath is going to play the Joker in the upcoming sequel to last summer's Batman Begins, I was as excited as I was surprised. For Heath is definitely quite a change from Cesar Romero's 1960's Joker or Jack Nicholson's 1989 Joker (vs. Michael Keaton's Batman). But, director Christopher Nolan, along with new Batman Christian Bale, did such an amazing job with Batman Begins that I have high hopes that he has great plans for Heath's Joker. Definitely a movie I will be eagerly anticipating!

I love that movie, too! Besides Brokeback Mountain, though, I think my favorite of his is A Knight's Tale. That was when I had my first big crush on him....mmmmm :-)
